About Me
Born in Japan to an American artist mother and American engineer father, I’ve always been a creative whirlwind, maker and technology dreamer, blending art and technology throughout my life.
The artistic side of me is shaped by Ireland, Japan and Hawaii as well as all of the varied cultures across the United States. My Irish grandmother was a tailor and taught us to love and understand all that color and design could bring to fashion and home. A rich, deep and wide technology career helped shape my knowledge of the world and how to move from design to reality across a wide number of industries, including home décor and apparel.
My passion for Hawaii and art has been a constant since we first visited and continued to return until finally moving and becoming Hawaiians! I decided that life was too short not to follow your passion so that’s exactly what I did. I left the world of technology and business and launched my own art studio. It was the best decision that I’ve made and I haven’t looked back!
Nestled in my treehouse above the Hawaiian coastline, I spend my days creating fresh surface designs and art. When I’m not designing you’re bound to find me walking on the beach with my sweet puppies Cassie and Polly or playing tennis with my wonderful husband.
Thank you so much for visiting my site and following my journey through Hawaiian art! If you love what you see and you’re interested in collaborating or licensing my existing designs I’d love to hear from you!
